[00:00:10] Hey guys, this is John, aka Satoshi Xtrek on Instagram. You're listening to episode 239 of the Subie & You podcast. Yes, yes, I am back with another episode. Sorry for the break there. We just had some connection issues with trying to get together and record on time.

[00:00:31] But now we are back and we were able to connect and get John on the podcast to hear about his Subaru Crosstrek wilderness and his Subaru journey and other things Subaru related that are going on with him and in his life. So, hope everybody had a happy Halloween. And you know, they say to turn your clocks back because we had the time change.

[00:00:57] But, I mean, I know there's clocks in our house a lot of time like on the microwave, the stove, you know, maybe other places got a wall clock or something. But our phones and our computers change automatically. So we should probably know what time it is and then just use that to base on changing all of our other clocks that need to be changed.

[00:01:20] So, hope anybody didn't miss any appointments or anything on Sunday. And again, hope you all had a happy Halloween. And I can't believe it's already November now. We've only got two months left of this year. And then it'll be 2027. That just seems pretty crazy to me. I was out in my car yesterday and I noticed that it was starting to get dark and it was pretty close to being, you know, like the sun going completely down.

[00:01:50] And I looked at the time and it was like 557 and it was already getting so dark. And it's like, you know, that the time shift is going to make it get dark early. It's like I always forget how early it is until it happens. And so, like, I had my first instance of, you know, experiencing the time change and it getting dark super early.

[00:02:15] It was just so weird because it's, you know, it's dark outside and you expect it to be like eight o'clock or something. And then you look and it's not even six o'clock yet. One of the things I do like about the time change, though, is I feel like it gets me to bed earlier because it feels like it's later. And therefore, I feel like I need to go to bed earlier. So that is a positive thing.

[00:02:38] But it's just really weird getting dark so early. So hope everybody, you know, is able to adjust OK and not have it affect you pretty, you know, negatively because it is a change. And it's just, you know, it can throw people off. So I hope everybody's doing OK with that. Being that we're in November now, the holidays are coming up. So if you are wanting to get something for yourself, something for the Subaru enthusiast in your life, go shop Subaru gear.

[00:03:08] Explore the holiday collection. Again, the holiday collection is limited supply. So whatever they have there, it's going to be gone once they're all sold out. So if you see something, get it because it's not going to be there forever. Also, anything else you see on the side, if you see something you really like, go get it now because they rotate through items. They bring out new items and older items go away. So always snag it when you see it, if it's something that you really like.

[00:03:37] And when you fill up your cart, you can use the code SUBINU2026 at checkout to save 20% off a single item or your entire purchase. And if you fill up your cart and your total is over $50 after the 20% discount, you'll also get free shipping. And that is really, really beneficial. So take advantage of that and fill up your cart. Thank you so much, Subaru gear, for sponsoring the SUBINU podcast. We all really, really appreciate it.

[00:04:04] Another thing you can do for yourself or somebody else's car is you can shop meleedesignfirm.com. They have a lot of great products for your Subaru. One of the things, especially being the engine bay caps, that's such a great way to change the look of your engine compartment and add some color and personality to it. You can find those on the website. And you can use the code SUBINU for 10% off your purchase, pretty much site-wide.

[00:04:33] So take advantage of that discount and go shop meleedesignfirm.com and see what they all have to offer. And that's available for your Subaru. Thank you so much, Melee Design Firm, for bringing this discount to the SUBINU podcast listeners. So this week, we should find out more about what's going on with Luke's Outback. It looks like we might have to get a new valve body, which is not going to be cheap.

[00:05:00] But, you know, it's better than, like, I'm not able to get him another car. And, like, again, his car is old. It has a lot of miles. But it's been doing pretty good for the amount of miles it has on it and for as old as it is. So whatever it ends up being, you know, we'll get it fixed, get it back on the road. And hopefully it'll last for a lot longer because the engine has been really solid. The engine's been doing great. Other things are doing great.

[00:05:29] It's just he's had issues with the transmission. So hopefully we can get it all figured out this week and get him back into his car because I know he wants it back. You know, it's not fun not having your car. And I'm, you know, I'm glad that he has a Subaru, of course. And now we'll go ahead and get into this episode with John and Satoshi Xtrek and hear all about his Subaru journey and his Subaru Crosstrek wilderness. Let's go ahead and get let's go ahead and get into this.

[00:06:09] What's going on, John? How are you doing? Hey, what's up, Brad? Nice to see you and connect visually at least. Yeah, man. Seriously. I was just saying it's like seeing a celebrity and just chatting with him online, dude. Yeah. It's fun for me because I get a chance to connect with a lot of different people all over the country and all over the world, too. So it's been a fun experience. It's awesome. Yeah. Yeah.

[00:06:35] So I got to start off with your Instagram handle because like I can see it now, you know, but like the first time I saw it, I'm like, what is that supposed to say? So like where did the name come from and like what does it mean? What's like, you know, the story behind that? Yeah. All right. All right. So pretty much it's like homage to Satoshi Nakamoto. He was the creator of Bitcoin. Okay.

[00:07:04] Which is a digital currency. Yeah. Yeah. But it also just evolved into like I looked up the meaning of it and it pretty much says like something with like wisdom or just like always like having to like learn. Like, you know, that kind of stuff. So I thought that was pretty cool. Yeah. So, you know, it evolved from like just, you know, paying homage to him, but also like the name itself is just, you know, about all that. Yeah. So that was pretty cool.

[00:07:33] So how did you come up with the spelling of it? Because it's a mix of letters and numbers. Yeah, man. It is pretty confusing. But so I watched the show called Twisted Metal. I don't know if you're familiar. I've heard of it. Yeah, dude. You got to check it out. It's sick. It's based on a video game for PlayStation. Oh, nice. Back in the day. Yeah. Yeah.

[00:07:57] It was like battle wagons and cars, just like all kinds of like artillery and just guns and ammo and pretty much like a Royal Rumble of just cars pretty much, you know? Yeah. And the game was just, you know, pretty cool, but it was very like, you know, simple at the time. But they made a show about it. And yeah, that's kind of like where it came from because all the episodes of that show was like car license plates. Oh, okay.

[00:08:26] So that was like something that, you know, I would, you know. Do something a little different. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. No, that's cool. The other question that I didn't send to you, but that I always ask is whether you prefer waffles or pancakes. Oh, geez, man.

[00:08:49] I was thinking about this all day at work because I was listening to some few episodes that you had and even some old ones from like friends of ours. Oh, nice. Um, I gotta say team pancake, dude. Yeah. Yeah. Because I just love pancakes and waffles are cool too, but. Yeah. Holly makes some mean pancakes and. Oh, that's good. There's this diner from down the block from where I used to live, my parents' house.

[00:09:19] And they had like the best pancakes, like just, you know, moist and nice and fluffy on the, like the middle and nice and crust, crusty on the outside. Just like perfect balance. Yeah. You know, the texture was just all there. Yeah. There's a place that I go to in, um, in Fort Worth and the same thing, like the pancakes are just so good and they've got that nice crispy edge to them. And I don't know how they do it. Oh, man. It's so good. Yeah, dude. There's gotta be like a science to that. I think so. It's incredible. Yeah.

[00:09:49] Yeah. I may have to look it up, like YouTube it or something like make the perfect pancake with a crispy edge or something, you know? Yeah, bro. This is definitely, you know, cooking is like science in its own way. Oh, yeah. Yeah. The recipes and everything. Yeah. Yeah. So, uh, like where did your interest in Subaru come from? Like, you know, in the first place, like, were you a kid? Did you just like happen to see one, one time? Were you watching rally?

[00:10:17] Cause like everybody has a different story of how their interest for Subaru came about. Yeah. So, um, I never really, like, I didn't know anyone that really had Subaru's. I think I had a boss that had like an STI at the time when, uh, the first came, I think the last time they came out, which was, was it like 2016? I believe. I think so. Was it like that? I'm not sure. Don't hold me on that. But he had like an all black one. Dude, it was like sick.

[00:10:47] And, um, other than that, yeah. Other than that, you know, I was just through watching that show. And, um, yeah, there was like, uh, I think it was like a burnt orange. I don't know what color it is exactly, but it was like that burnt orange color. Yeah. Um, from that show, uh, Twisted Metal that Anthony Mackie had. Okay. And yeah, that color was just insane. I loved it, you know? Yeah. So that was just two Subarus that, you know, I could think of from the top of my head, you know?

[00:11:16] So is this. That inspired me to get one. Yeah. So is this your first Subaru? Yeah, dude. Okay. My first Subaru. So why did you choose a Crosstrek Wilderness? Because, you know, they've got other models. So, you know, why the Crosstrek? Oh, man. Dude, I almost, I almost actually got the Impreza, the Rally. Oh, yeah. The Rally one. Was it the RS? Yeah. It was like the really bright blue color. And then there was the red one.

[00:11:47] And, uh, I test drove the red one and it felt nice, you know? But, um, I didn't want to just make a decision right there and then. Yeah. I didn't want to, like, check out the other, uh, like, models and stuff. So maybe, um, I think I left and then I came back and that's when I saw, like, the, just the Crosstrek. It was just, like, glistening there, dude. Like, you know, straight, like, it was, like, meant to be. And. Yeah. I don't know. I just, from there, I just FOMO, dude.

[00:12:13] And that was, like, the first, uh, wilderness that they had in, uh, in the lot. You know? So. And that color is cool. Man, that color is, uh, it's beautiful. The sun lays all. Yeah. That's so. My daughter has a, uh, 24 Crosstrek Premium. Uh, she has the one with the, uh, yeah, she has the one with the 2.0. But, yeah, that, that is, man, that color is, is beautiful. Like. It really is. Yeah.

[00:12:43] I don't even know how to describe it. I know. Cause she, like, she was wanting to. She, she found a couple of colors that she really liked. And, and then, like, the dealership didn't have one of them, but then they had, like, another one. But it, like, wasn't the, the, I guess, the trim level that she wanted. And so, uh, she, I was like, well, well, let's just go. And I know they don't have, like, the color that you're really, really wanting.

[00:13:11] But you may end up seeing something that you hadn't seen before or that you just hadn't really thought about. And so, when we got there, she saw the sun blazed pearl. I mean, she saw, she looked at some other ones first. And then she saw the sun blazed pearl. And she was like, uh, yeah, I really like this color. And so, she, uh, she ended up getting it. And, uh, she loves it. Yeah.

[00:13:36] That color is just like, and it's, it's hard to capture the true color online because it either looks red or it looks orange. And it's, it's like a mix of both. It's like this perfect combination of, of red and orange. So. It's like a tomato. I don't know. Yeah. A nice plump tomato. Yeah. It's beautiful. So, um, I like it. And cause like, yeah. So when I start, every time I see one out, I'm like, oh man, that looks so good. It's such a good color.

[00:14:06] And she's, she's totally happy with it. Oh, that's cool. Yeah. I was going to say, speaking of your daughter, dude, um, she posted, um, kind of like this little beanie on the gear shifter. Yeah. Yeah. One time. Like in a story. And I was like, oh my God, I need to get that. Like, you know, so I actually like message her and ask her like, if she could like make one for me, um, for Holly and for Brandon. Was that last year? So she made like three of them. Oh, or a couple of years ago? It was like two years ago. Yeah. Okay. So you were one of the ones that she made one for. That's right.

[00:14:36] Yeah. I still have it. That's awesome. Yeah. She made one for me too. Shout out to her. Yeah. Yeah. If you want it, if you guys want it, you know, reach out to her. She did a good job with those. Yeah, man. It's cool. Definitely went right now too, because you know, it's the season, it's getting colder. Yeah. It keeps your, um, gear shifter nice and warm. Yeah. Yeah. You hang out with Brandon a lot. I see you out there with him. Klytosaurus Rex. Yes. Or is it T-Rex? I can't remember.

[00:15:06] I think it's Klytosaurus Rex. Anyway. Yeah. So Brandon, did you know him before you bought your Crosstrek or was he somebody that you connected with afterwards, like through Instagram or something? Yeah, dude. So, um, I didn't know him before then. Like, you know, we, um, I got the car and maybe within like a week or two, I made an Instagram and yeah, we just connected through Instagram.

[00:15:32] Like we met up, I think back in 24, I would say. Yeah. I would say like around November of like 24, we met and, uh, yeah, we did trails in the Pine Barrens and he's pretty much my, uh, he's my Crosstrek bestie. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, y'all both have the wilderness. So it's, it's crazy too. Cause like, I ended up talking about this with a lot of people that I have on the podcast

[00:15:59] because it's like, you end up meeting all these people that you would not have met otherwise if you hadn't bought, you know, a Subaru. Also, I'm sure you probably didn't know there was a whole community out there too, right? No, definitely not. Yeah. It wasn't, um, I think you were like one of the first people I followed on Instagram. Cause like, you know, I'd be at work and listen to music. So I would like, you know, let me switch it up, like listen to some podcasts.

[00:16:26] So I think I just typed in like Subaru or something and your podcast came up and I was like, Oh shit. That's cool. Like all these people with Subarus and dude, that's like, it was like a rabbit hole from there. Like, you know, just like how everyone gets in, you know, it's pretty much just, you don't realize like, you know, this whole nother world out there. I'm just, you know. So you, you were looking at the, uh, Impreza and then you went with a Crosstrek.

[00:16:53] Like, did you, did you have any, like anything in mind before you bought it? Like, I want to go off road or was it, was it just another car? Yeah, it was just another car. I was just thinking more for like, you know, I got it in October of 2023. So I was just thinking like winter time. I wanted something that's good with snow and reliable. And, you know, I think I was just getting flooded with Subaru commercials.

[00:17:21] So in a way, I think this is just like, it was just meant to be dude, one way or another. You're like, you know. Yeah. How much would you say that you knew about Subaru before you bought yours? Just that they existed? Just from, yeah. Just that they existed and just watching that show, dude. And seeing that, you know, that STI. I mean, you know, but it wasn't like I was going to get a fast car like that. Like, I just saw the car and I was like, oh my God, it's mine. It's, you know.

[00:17:51] Yeah. So you've had it for, I guess, about three years now, huh? Yeah. Yeah. And so it's still a lease. And I'm just going to plan on keeping it. Because at first I was like, do I want a different one? Do I want an outback? Because Holly's outback is like sick, man. She's got the 26, the Wilderness. Oh, nice. Oh, that's right. Yeah. Because she just got that several months ago, right? Mm-hmm. Yeah. Okay. Yeah.

[00:18:20] Because Brandon was telling me about that. Yes. Yeah. Brandon was there when we got it. So it was pretty cool. How long after you had it and, you know, as a lease, were you thinking like, were you thinking like, why did I lease this? Why didn't I just buy one? Because I love it so much. Yeah, dude. Because even before, like, I got that car, like, I didn't really drive that many places. Like, you know, I don't know.

[00:18:48] I just felt like, not that I didn't feel like adventurous or stuff like that, but I don't know, with the car, I feel like it's just unlocked, like, some kind of, you know, that person in me that just wants to explore, I guess, you know? Yeah. Any other vehicle, I don't know. I don't think it would have done that. Yeah. And I'm sure, like, now you're probably like, you know, you just said that you weren't really

[00:19:17] like, oh, I want to go explore and stuff. Now you're probably like, man, where can I go next? You know? Yeah, seriously. And do you have that thing where it's like, you just want to get in your car and drive just because you want to drive it? Yeah, bro. Yeah. Yeah. It would be like some, just the most ridiculous weather outside. And I'm like, I want to kind of just drive around for a little bit. Yeah. You know? It's kind of addicting just to, like, get in your car and drive it.

[00:19:45] But, like, for me, I, you know, like, I'll just, like, today I went for a drive. I mean, I wanted to get out of my apartment because I work from home. And so I'm here a lot. And sometimes I'll go for a walk. Oh, congrats on the new job, man. Yeah, thank you. I was listening to some previous episodes. You just started, like, a new job recently. Yeah, in August. So it's been going really well. And, yeah, it's, so I, for a long time I was thinking, like, if I get another job,

[00:20:12] another full-time job, I want to, like, I just want to do drafting. Like, that's what I went to school for and that's what I really enjoy and I'm really good at it. Right. And then I'm like, I wanted to try to find a fully remote job, one where I can move because I'm planning on moving up to the Dallas area to be closer to my girlfriend. Plus, I want to be able to just, like, go up there and stay up there for a week if I want to and not have to worry about, you know, going into an office. Mm-hmm. And that's not really, like, the main reason for that.

[00:20:40] The main reason was, like, because I'm moving and I want to be able to have a job that I can move and work from anywhere, really. Okay. So, yeah, I found it and I was just, like, it was, and it was perfect timing because, so I was on unemployment and the week that I got the offer for the job, I went, that Sunday after that, I went to go file for unemployment and it said that my benefits had run out. Oh, man. Yeah.

[00:21:10] So, I was like, okay, this is perfect timing. But, yeah, it all worked out. Yeah. No, that's great. I'm happy for you. Yeah. Thank you. It's awesome. Thank you. Yeah. So, since it's a lease, have you been able to do any kind of mods to it? I try to, like, keep my, you know, try to back off from too many stuff because I know certain things are, like, covered under warranty or the warranty won't cover it because you have, like, certain stuff on the car. Yeah.

[00:21:40] So, you know, try to, like, stay away from stuff like that. But, you know, now that, dude, it's pretty much only in plus, you know, because there's really, yeah, there's, I don't have a lift, really. It's pretty much just stock with, you know, stickers and it's a ladder, maybe. I mean, the. And a basket. Yeah. The wilderness comes pretty, it comes pretty nice. Yeah.

[00:22:11] Thank you. Yeah. You're welcome. I mean, you've already got a little bit more clearance and standard. Do you, were you able to add skid plates or no? Nah. That's one thing I do want to look into, the skid plates. Yeah. Because even, like, Brandon has one and, you know, he uses it all the time and, you know. Yeah. It's great. You know? Yeah. That's, it's, they're definitely good to have just for that peace of mind, you know. Mm-hmm.

[00:22:38] Not, it just, it just gives you the, the comfort and the, I guess, the confidence to go a little. Yeah. Not like, oh, I'm just gonna go slam this thing on rocks. But, you know, you just, you just don't have to worry about it as much. Yeah. And there are spots that you might not have driven on before that now you're like, okay, I'll give that a try because I know the skid plates will take care of me and stuff. But, yeah.

[00:23:07] So, let's say you, you know, your lease is up, you decide, okay, I'm keeping this car. Are there some mods that you would want to do to it besides the skid plates? Yeah. Um, probably like a swing out tire in the back because I do have a, like a hitch. Okay. I just never like did anything with the hitch. Yeah. Really? You know? And, um, what else? Yeah, I don't know. I think that's it.

[00:23:37] Okay. Yeah. You know? Yeah. Yeah. Nothing crazy, you know? But maybe like, maybe like a lift in the future, you know, that would be good. Yeah. Any lights? For the trails. Uh, I'm not, I'm not too sure about the lights. Okay. We'll see. Yeah. Just see how it goes. Yeah, exactly. So, uh, since you get out and adventure and everything, so you've had it for three years

[00:24:05] and you bought it brand new, right? Yeah. How many, how many miles have you put on it so far? I've only got maybe like 30 on it so far. That's not too bad. Oh, yeah. Not really much. I got to catch up to Brandon. I think he's like, I don't even know what he's up to. Or like 80. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Uh, so, I mean, I have so many miles on mine just cause I've, I've driven, I mean, I drove to Colorado, drove up to Madison, Wisconsin.

[00:24:34] Those are both really long trips. And then, um, I've driven back and forth to Dallas a lot, but I also just drive around here a lot. I mean, I would say like the, at least maybe 60% of my miles are just local, local miles. Oh, damn. Yeah. Cause I, I mean like me and my son will drive because I'm also like a one, uh, car household too. My, my son has a car.

[00:25:02] He has a 2010 Outback 3.6 R, but he, um, he's having some issues. It's actually in the shop right now. So whenever we drive anywhere, like we, we always take my car. We just leave his car here. And I mean, he's driven it like from Houston to San Antonio a couple of times and it did fine, but he's having issues with his transmission, but it's also 16 years old. It's had a few different owners. It's been taken apart here and there.

[00:25:30] And then it has 227,000 miles on it. So yeah, it's, uh, it's seen some, some, you know, some stuff. So, but, but yeah, it's, uh, and you know, again, my daughter has a Subaru, so all Subaru family, which is really cool. Yeah, no, that's awesome too. I love that. My, my dad actually has a Subaru too. My folks, they, um, so I'm, I'm in Staten Island. My folks moved out to, um, Florida.

[00:26:00] Okay. Yeah. What do they have? My sister's out there, my brother, my brother-in-law. What's that? Sorry. What Subaru do they have? Oh, my dad has the Ascent, believe it or not. It's, yeah. Yeah. He's got the 20. The big boy. 20, 26. Yeah. Ascent. Yeah. Wow. That's cool. Uh, were they inspired to get a Subaru because of you? I don't even know, dude. Probably. Yeah.

[00:26:27] They probably just know that it's reliable and safe, you know? But, yeah. Thing is, um, yeah, my, my dad hasn't even like driven the car yet because, uh, he's actually, um, he just got knee surgery. Oh, okay. So, um, he's, he's in rehab now trying to like get better and just be able to walk and, you know, hopefully, you know? Yeah. Be able to drive, so. Yeah, that would be good. It's good to be able to walk.

[00:26:56] So, like, whenever you connected with Brandon, what, what did y'all do the first time y'all met up? Cause I'm sure like you connected on Instagram and like, dude, we got a meetup. Yeah. So when I first met him, I was actually, it was Holly and I in my car and we met up in, um, I think it was the Etsy and mansion. It's like one of the meetups that we would go to when we, um, hit the trails out there in the Pine Barrens.

[00:27:22] And yeah, dude, cause we'd never like really even like seen each other face to face or knew what we looked like, like, you know? Yeah. So it was just like, you know, who is this guy? And he's like, who's, who's driving? And it was Holly's driving at the time. So he's like, that's Satoshi X-Track. And I'm just like in the passenger seat, like, you know, but, um, yeah, dude, he's, you know, just one of our close friends and he's just awesome.

[00:27:49] You know, go camping all the time with Nina and Tobin. Oh yeah. Yeah. It's so fun. That's so cool. Yeah. It's, it's cool that I've had a chance to like meet her and Tobin and some of the other people from on the East coast. Cause last year I went to a Overland Expo East and some of those people came out and that was really cool. Yeah. I want to make it up there at some point and just hang out sometime, but. Yeah. We got to meet in person. Yeah.

[00:28:19] There's, there's so many people up there too. Yeah, definitely. And it's just, I feel like it just keeps growing too. Yeah. It's like, you know, it's just more, more and more people. Yeah. Joining the community. Good people too. So, uh, so you mentioned the Pine Barrens. Are there other places that y'all get out and explore? Um, for the most part it's Jersey, which is just the Pine Barrens really out there.

[00:28:47] And, um, I've done a few trails like out in Maine and, uh, Tennessee and. Oh, okay. Nice. Um, yeah. Holly and I, we pretty much try to visit like all the national parks. Yeah. Yeah. And, um, yeah, along the way, like I'll check like on X off road and see if there's any trails nearby, even though like she'll start panicking, like, Oh, I don't want to go there. But.

[00:29:13] You know, like I do make sure it's, you know, something that's accessible and it's nothing like too, like, um, difficult for the car to be able to get through. So. Were y'all like going camping and stuff before you had your Subaru or is this something that's developed since you bought your Subaru? Um, so I met Holly after I got my Subaru. Okay. And, um, so I'm a school custodian and she's a teacher for 3K.

[00:29:43] Okay. The young kids. Nice. So, um, yeah, we actually like met at work, dude. Oh. That's cool. You know, I just like loved, like, I don't know, like she was just so like free spirited and I just love how she like interact with the kids and I don't know. That's just like from there we just got together and started going camping and from there we just hit it off. Nice. Nice. That's cool. That's awesome.

[00:30:12] So, so you had your cross track and then I guess she has her outback. Because she saw your Subaru and was like, I like that and I want to get one for me. Yeah. No, but she actually had a Subaru before I did. Oh, nice. Because she had the Forester. Okay. I don't know what year it was, but it's the, um, it's the one with like the red like accents on it. Oh yeah. The, uh, sport? Yes. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Those are nice.

[00:30:42] Mm-hmm. I, yeah. When I went up to Overland Expo, uh, Arizona, this guy, Chris Ingram, he goes by, um, Silver Rue Offroad. He has a Forester Sport and I was, I rode in it and I looked, looked at it and I was like, this thing is really nice. Like, cause I'm not super crazy about the body style.

[00:31:07] Like it doesn't look bad, but I was just like, you know, uh, I, but when I got on the inside, I was like, this thing is super, super cool. It's just like, I don't know. It's just the way the design inside was really nice. Yeah. It's a bigger car too. So it's a lot more room, you know? Yeah. A lot more spacious in there. Yeah. So how is the, the 2026 Outback and it's, it's the wilderness, right? Mm-hmm. How is that?

[00:31:36] Oh, dude, it's sick. It's like, uh, the thing's just, just powerful. Like, you know, I'm scared to drive it. You know, I, I like my Crosstrek, you know? Yeah. Yeah. No, you definitely feel it. You know, you just, it's like a spaceship being in there. In a way. Dude, the, the, um, the interior and like the controls and, and, and the center. I mean, it, I think it has like one of the nicest interiors of any Subaru I've ever seen.

[00:32:06] Yeah. It's pretty sweet. Yeah. It is so nice. And they brought back more touch, uh, like touch controls too. Yes. Which is really nice. That was very smart of them. Yeah. But yeah, I know there's like, there's, I think there's a lot more people that like the new Outback than I would have thought, because I know there's like some people that don't love it. You know, they think it doesn't look like a wagon anymore, which I can see that.

[00:32:34] And then like a lot of people are like, oh yeah, the front is just so ugly. I don't know. I like it though. I disagree. Yeah. I like it. And the, uh, the wilderness is really nice. Mm-hmm. Yeah, definitely. Have y'all. That's what I was thinking. Like, should I trade mine in for an Outback? I don't know, man. Two Outbacks. Yeah. Yeah. If it was in Sunblaze, maybe. Yeah, I know. You know, that's... That's the color.

[00:33:02] You know, that's the only reason why I want to keep it, because they don't, I don't, they discontinued it, you know? Yeah. Well, I mean, you've kind of got the best of both worlds. Because like, what's really nice about the Crosstrek that I really like is I like that it's small and nimble and easy to maneuver and everything. And so you can fit it in a lot of places, you know, it doesn't have like, it's not like it doesn't have cargo space, but it doesn't have a ton of cargo space.

[00:33:30] But you have a car that's small and fun for you and everything. And then you have another car that has more space and more things to do. So whenever, especially like speaking of space, do y'all car camp or do you tent camp? So we started out just like car camping and then I ended up getting like a roof nest. Okay.

[00:33:56] And yeah, we started sleeping on the roof nest for a little bit. And then, yeah, I think we kind of switched in between and we've done like some tent camping too. Is that a rooftop tent? Yes. Okay. Yeah. Nice. Yeah. And then when y'all go camping, do you go in your cross trick or do you go in the outback? So lately we've been on out in the outback. Okay. Or on top of the outback. Yeah.

[00:34:26] Yeah. But yeah, I mean, we were all hanging out last weekend. Holly and I, Brandon, Nina, Tobin, and I ended up bringing my car too. So we could all be together because I always felt left out because my car would always be home and we're always taking Holly's car. So it was nice, you know? Yeah. That was going to be my next question is do y'all go out with both of your cars sometimes?

[00:34:52] Because that would, uh, I think it'd be hard not to, especially, I guess if you're not going in, you know, somewhere that's too far away, you know, then I think it would be fun to take both cars. So like you said, you're, somebody's going to have to be a passenger and you're not going to be able to drive on the trails or wherever it is you are. You're going to be, you're going to be dealing with FOMO and you can take turns driving, but it's still just more fun to have your own car. It's not the same. No, it's not. Yeah.

[00:35:22] Like the car wants to be there with the other cars. That's the way I see it. Exactly. You know, your car's sitting at home crying like, oh, why didn't you take me? Uh, so besides the obvious color of your car, like what is it that like really, really attracts you to your cross track? Like what is it that you do really like about it? Um, I don't know, dude. It's like every time I look at it, it's just, I just smile.

[00:35:52] Like, I don't know. You know? I get that. It could be anywhere, like parked anywhere and I just look at it. I'm like. Man, that's my car. She looks good. Yeah. Do you look back at it when you walk away? Oh, all the time, dude. Forget it. Yeah. Yeah. There's a saying that says, yeah, there's a saying that goes like, if you don't turn around and look at your car, you bought the wrong car. Yeah. Seriously. It's true.

[00:36:20] Uh, so who else have you connected with up there that y'all get out with? Cause you, of course, Brandon, Holly, and then Tobin and Nina, but are some other people that get together with y'all? Yeah. Um, so, um, Jamie, the Subie, Sean. Oh yeah. He's with us. Um, yeah, I've done trails with the Off-Road Roos, with Rob. Nice. And then, um, yeah, Jim, you know, Scott, Ilya, a few folks.

[00:36:50] Um, our friend Jeremy, I don't know if you know, JW Trek. He's got the, he's also got the white Crosstrek. Okay. Yeah. He's got the white Pearl. Um, yeah. I mean, I've camped with, uh, X-Trek Matt. Oh, nice. Um, yeah, I'm probably forgetting a few people. Yeah. But yeah, it's just like, it's just nice meeting, you know, a bunch of, um, people in the community and like going to events.

[00:37:18] Like, um, I've got to give a shout out to PYP Dadwagon too. Oh yeah. Have you met him? I met, uh, yes, at, uh, Boxer Fest. Very briefly, buddy. He's a cool dude. We gotta, you know, we gotta link up sometime. Yeah, he is. So, yeah, it's just so many people out there, you know? Yeah. I know it's... And that's just on the East Coast, really. I know. Yeah. It's hard to keep track with everybody too. Mm-hmm. Yeah. There's just like, there's so many people, uh, and then there's like, there's people

[00:37:47] that I will see come across my feed that I haven't seen in a long time. And I'm like, oh yeah, I haven't talked to them in a while, you know? Yeah, dude, I was just, uh, you, I was listening to an episode and, um, I don't know who it was, but they mentioned someone. You were like, oh, I haven't spoken to them in a long time. Yeah. Cause like, you have so many people like on the, on the podcast, like how can you like keep up with everyone on a daily basis, you know? Yeah.

[00:38:14] And just like, you know, everybody that you've connected with, like it would be a full-time job just to try to, you know, keep in touch with everybody. Yeah. That's a lot, dude. Like, I don't know how, like, you know, people would just like a group chat with so many people. I feel like that would just like, I would just have anxiety. You mentioned Tennessee. What is the furthest distance you've driven? Is that it? Cause it seems pretty far.

[00:38:41] The furthest was probably Maine from New York to Maine. Okay. Yeah. Cause that was about like nine, 10 hours. Oh wow. That's a pretty good drive. Mm-hmm. But, um, yeah, I didn't drive the whole way there. Like, you know, I probably drove five out of those, you know, hours and then, you know, Holly drove the rest. Okay. Yeah. Uh, so what were y'all doing out in Maine? Just like camping or? Yeah. Okay. Camping.

[00:39:09] Um, went to Acadia, um, did the Beehive Trail, um, went down to like Bar Harbor. Um, I think we did it some other trail and, you know, just checking out, um, yeah, the coast and, you know, stuff like that. Was it just the two of you on that trip? Mm-hmm. Okay. Yeah. All right. It was fun. So being that you're on the East Coast and there's like, you know, a lot of stuff out

[00:39:37] West and Midwest and stuff, are there any spots that you've seen like, you know, following other people where you're like, man, I want to get out there someday. Like, I have to. Yeah. Yeah. Definitely, man. I want to definitely head out West at some point, but yeah, like, um, like the PNW area just, um, I watched that guy, uh, driving sports TV. Oh yeah. Yeah.

[00:40:03] I forgot his name, but yeah, dude, he's got like a, just like a big ass property out there and he makes some of those trails and he drives all the cars. But yeah, I would love to go see some of those. Yeah. Um, some of the mountains out there that'd be pretty cool. Have you never been out West before? Nah, never do. Yeah. It's man, it's beautiful. Yeah. I've been to, been to California. I've been to Oregon.

[00:40:30] I've been to Washington and yeah. Some of that was for work though. Like I had work trips out there and I was able to see some of that, but then I like went out to Washington with my son, one of his spring breaks. And then my brother used to live in, in San Diego for a while because, well, for a while, 12 years because he was in the Navy, he did his four years and then he got out and then he was like, I just want to let you know, I'm staying out here.

[00:41:01] Like, I was like, Oh man, that sucks. And then I went out there for the first time and I was like, okay, now I understand why. Now you see. Yeah. He's back here now, but yeah. So I went out there quite a bit and then went to Subi Fest, uh, California in 2022, got to hang out with a bunch of people out there. So that was cool. But yeah, it's, uh, West coast is nice. I mean, East coast is nice too. I haven't, I've been to the East coast some.

[00:41:30] I've been, I've been to New York long time ago. I've been to New Jersey. Have you been to a PA? Yeah. I went to, um, uh, I can't think of the little town. I'm drawing a blank now, but yeah. I'm not really too familiar. Yeah. I went to Pennsylvania for work and I actually happened to go there when it was snow. Or when it had snowed and that was just beautiful. So like the drive that had to take from the hotel to the, the place where I was going to

[00:42:00] work, it was like a 30 minute drive. And I was just going through like all these homes in this land. And it just was covered in snow. And I was like, this is just amazing. Like this is so beautiful. Uh, cause we don't get snow here. Uh, like we get, we'll get like a pretty hard snow. Like every five or six years and it'll last for like a day and a half. And then that's it. And that's, yeah. So, uh, maybe that's a good thing.

[00:42:30] Yeah. I mean, yeah, I know we don't have to deal with it, but we also like, don't ever have a white Christmas. Yeah, it is. It's definitely nice to see. And I've been to other places too, where it's snowed. And, uh, it's really nice. And like, I've finally got a chance to drive Subarus through snow. So that was like, it's like really get the capabilities of what they can do. And I'm like, now I understand why people buy, you know, Subarus and snowy climates. Cause these things do really well. Yeah, seriously. It's fun.

[00:43:00] Just driving through like any kind of terrain. Oh yeah. Yeah. So have you, I mean, I'm sure you've driven through snow and mud, but like, which would you prefer? Or like, which one do you enjoy most? Uh, probably like sand. Oh yeah. There's some parts of the pine barns where you drive through and it's just like all sandy and you just feel it automatically. Like, yeah, the sand feels weird, but it feels cool.

[00:43:28] Cause it's like your car is just like, almost like it's floating on the ground or something. It's hard to explain. But yeah, that's a weird feeling. It's cool. Yeah. But I do like going through just like a few puddles here and there, you know? Yeah. A few splashes. It's fun. Yeah. Get it all muddy. The nice thing about snow is like, if you get it all up in your wheel wells and stuff, it melts, but the mud just sticks there and it's so hard to get out.

[00:43:57] My car's still muddy from last weekend. So yeah, I gotta, I gotta wash that thing. So like, as far as like your, your cross track is concerned, like how would, and, and just owning a Subaru now, like how would you say that owning a Subaru has changed your life? It's definitely, um, made me want to like explore a lot of places and, you know, I wouldn't meet

[00:44:26] all the friends that I have through a Subaru, um, the community without having this, you know, the car. So, you know, it brought me really great friends and, you know, just being able to take the car all these places, it's, you know, it's beautiful, man. Just seeing like what's out there. Cause. Yeah. You won't know what's out there if you're just staying at home, you know? Yeah.

[00:44:53] That's why I'm sure you love to drive because you get to see what's out there, you know? Yeah. It's fun, you know, but yeah, I love seeing nature. I love going through just the offbeaten path, you know? Yeah. And that was like one of the main reasons I bought my cross track was because I wanted the ability to like get off the pavement at some point, you know, and go explore a little bit more.

[00:45:21] Cause I've, I've said this many times on the podcast, but we have a family reunion every, every year and it's out in East Texas. And there's some County roads out there that I wasn't able to drive down in my other car. And I thought like, okay, well, this is, this is what I'm going to use this cross track for is once a year, when we go out here, I'll get to drive these roads. And little did I know I'd be driving to Madison, Wisconsin or Colorado. And yeah, it's just been, it's been fun.

[00:45:51] Did some, did a little bit of off-roading in Arkansas too. The last time I was out there, cause my daughter went to school out there and the last time we were there, we went, um, we did some off-roading. So that was fun. That's cool. Yeah. Uh, so something I was going to ask you. Is that by, um, what is that? Cheeseburger loop? No, no. That's, that's North of Houston. It's like about, it takes a little over an hour to get to cheeseburger loop.

[00:46:18] And cheeseburger loop is like, I still haven't driven the whole thing because it's quite a bit of miles. It's not like it's, it's, uh, I'm, I can't remember how many miles it is, but like, I think I've driven maybe a quarter of it, if that. And, and it takes a while to, um, it takes a while to get there too.

[00:46:44] But yeah, so cheeseburger loop is 163.26 miles. So. Yeah. And it's not like. It's crazy. Yeah. Yeah. It's, it's this big loop. And again, like I, like I've driven for over an hour and going in one direction and then like over an hour going the other direction and only hit like less than a quarter of it. Going both directions.

[00:47:13] It's probably a quarter of it, you know, but going the one direction I have. And yeah, it's just, I mean, one of these days I want to drive the whole thing, but I'd. You have to. Yeah. It's one of those things where I'd have to like go really early in the morning and, you know, just like drive all day. Cause it's not like you're just going to drive it and not stop. You know, you're going to have to like stop at some point and. Yeah. You know, you want to. Yeah. And take pictures of stuff. And that always happens.

[00:47:42] Like you can't just, you can't like, it's hard to go somewhere and hit like a spot that looks really cool or beautiful or you're getting on three wheels. And it's like, I have to take a picture. I have to take a video of my car on three wheels, you know, or driving through a mud puddle or whatever it is. It's like, it's, it's hard to not do that. But so like with your, uh, with Holly's Outback is hers a lease or is she buying it? She's, she's buying it. Okay. Yeah. That's good.

[00:48:11] Has she done any mods to hers? No, it's pretty much like stock like mine. Okay. It just has like accessories really. Yeah. So do you think that you will always own a Subaru? Oh, dude, I was thinking about that. Um, I don't know. Um, so I've been seeing a lot of, uh, these tacos driving by and I don't know. I'm always like breaking my neck, looking at them. So, yeah.

[00:48:41] And then Brandon and Nina, they have, um, these little like RC cars. Oh yeah. Those are cool. With, uh, the Tacomas. So they're pretty cool, but I don't know. I mean, it doesn't hurt to have a second vehicle. So. Oh no, of course not. But yeah, if I get a second car or another car, it'd probably be like a Tacoma or, you know, some kind of truck like that.

[00:49:05] Like a small one that you could just take through the trails without getting, you know, um, just getting all hit up by, uh, all the bushes and shit all over the place. Yeah. I really like the older Tacomas too. Those are, those are fun. You know, like I, uh, I went with my uncle to get his, yeah. And I don't even, I guess they called them a Tacoma back then, but it was a 1985 Toyota pickup.

[00:49:32] And I don't remember if it was the extended cab or the regular cab, but it was manual. And that was, that was one of the things that like got me fascinated with the manual was just watching him shift gears, you know? Yeah. And yeah. And so, cause like, I was like, that's so cool. Like I want to be able to do that. And then my grandpa had, uh, like a 75 Bronco or something and it had a shifter on the steering column.

[00:50:01] So watching him drive that, I was like, oh man, that's so cool. As far as like, you know, Subarus are concerned. It's, it's you, like I was mentioning when we first started talking is you buy these cars, you, you know, if you decide to start an Instagram page, then, then you, there's this whole, this whole world opens up and it's like, you never know where it's going to take you.

[00:50:25] And it sounds like, you know, you've had some pretty, you've met some awesome people and had some fun times and always more to come, you know? So here's a little, uh, segment to get to know you a little bit better, but like, who is John as in describe yourself? Who's John? Um, so. Who is this guy?

[00:50:53] I guess I'm just, you know, I'm pretty easy going, you know? A lot of people say that, you know, I feel like I could pretty much strike a conversation with someone. Yeah. Or just anyone really. Mm-hmm. Without feeling awkward, I guess. Like, even like, like before we even like started this, uh, podcast, I was telling Holly, I'm like, this is one of my worst fears.

[00:51:22] Just, you know, talking to someone live and, you know, being recorded and who knows what I'm going to say. Like, I might say something that she doesn't even know about me and, you know, or something like that. But, um, yeah, I mean, you know, I, I could go on a pretty much a tangent, like, you know? Yeah. But, yeah, pretty just, you know. Chill guy. Just a chill guy.

[00:51:51] Yeah, pretty much. Yeah. That's it. Chill guy with a Subie. Yeah. Do you have a favorite memory from your childhood? Um, so, I was actually born in the Philippines. Oh, cool. So, I came here when I was eight years old. All right. Um, yeah, I, uh, was raised by my grandparents.

[00:52:16] And, um, when I was young, I just remember, like, always just wandering off somewhere. Like, either, um, like, by the beach side or in the mountains, you know? Yeah. Yeah. And, there was, like, uh, the locals had a saying called, uh, Soroy Soroy, they call it. Soroy Soroy. And that meant just, like, wandering off all the time. And, you know, in a way, it was just, like, adventuring.

[00:52:45] So, that's always what I remembered, you know, being a young kid. Yeah. Just going off and just wandering off, I guess, you know? Seeing new stuff. Yeah. Maybe that's why you have a Subaru now. That's what I'm saying. I feel like the Subi, like, unlocked that. Yeah. That childhood, you know?

[00:53:06] Just being able to, um, just be free and just be, you know, roam around. Ooh, what's over there? What's down that road? Yeah. Let's go. Let's go check it out. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, that's fun. Uh, so you mentioned earlier what you do for a living, but do you have a dream job? Oh, man. Yeah.

[00:53:31] So, my dream job, I mean, this might sound a little unconventional, but I always wanted to work in, like, uh, like a cryogenics, uh, laboratory. Oh, cool. Have you ever heard of those? Yeah. Like, um, that's where they, like, um, keep people that are dead. Mm-hmm. And, um, they, you know, they're, like, cryopreserved. Yeah.

[00:53:58] So, um, yeah, I'm actually, I'm studying, like, I told you I was in school, so I'm studying refrigeration. Oh, nice. Yeah. So, um, yeah, I know you, I mean, it's pretty, you know, I just thought it was cool, just, you know, like. It's definitely interesting. Yeah. Yeah. Uh, what is something that makes you want to get out of bed every day? Oh, damn.

[00:54:28] It's maybe, like, a cup of coffee or something, you know? Yeah, that's always good. Yeah. What is something that makes you want to stay in bed? Oh, man. Probably, like, when it's nice and, uh, when it's, like, raining outside and, you know, you just want to stay in bed all day, you know? Yeah. Any kind of, like, weather that you don't want to go outside in. Yeah.

[00:54:57] Yeah, here it's, like. Unless you want to drive your soupy, then that's a different story. Yeah, exactly. Sometimes there's days we don't want to go out here because it's, like, really hot and very humid. And it's like, oh, gosh. It sucks. Uh, or sometimes we get, like, really, really heavy rains here. And that's, that's not fun either. But yeah, that's, that's a good day to just stay in bed and chill out and not doing anything, do anything. Mm-hmm. I agree.

[00:55:25] Oh, what is something that really scares you? What scares me? Oh, man. Um, probably just, like, getting old, you know? Yeah. Just seeing your parents get old and, yeah, just, I mean, that's just part of life. So, I mean, there's, you can't control that. Yeah. But, you know, maybe that's why I want to work at a. A cryo place. A cryo place. Yeah.

[00:55:55] Yeah. Because that is, like, in a way, like, life extension, you know? At some point, you know, technology, you might be able to. Yeah. You never know. Come back to life. Yeah. Yeah. So, besides, like, all things Subaru, like, what is something that really excites you? Maybe just, you know, making plans with our friends and, you know. Yeah. Going camping. That excites me.

[00:56:24] Because a lot of times we just, you know, we just live to work. And I feel like that just breaks the cycle off. Yeah. That's, like, my way of just unplugging. And, you know, just not thinking about work. Not thinking about, you know, anything else that would worry you in a way. Yeah. You know? And, yeah, just being out there and having fun, you know? Yeah. Cooking steak, you know? On the fire. Yeah. That's it.

[00:56:53] You got to disconnect for sure. Mm-hmm. Yeah. What would be your best bit of advice to give to someone about anything? So, I was actually thinking a lot about this. And probably have to say that, you know, as much as you think someone has got it all together or anything, like, you know?

[00:57:18] Like, we're all, like, this is all, like, our first time living life. Like, you know, in a way, like, no one knows what the right way to do anything really is. You know? Yeah. We're all just winging it, in a way. So, I feel like thinking like that, it really grounds me. Because, you know, you see people more successful. You might feel like you're left behind.

[00:57:40] Or, you know, not to compare yourself with other people, but, you know, at the end of the day, like, you know, we're just here and we're winging it, you know? Yeah. That's it. Doing the best we can. Yeah. Exactly. Yeah. I think it kind of plays into, like, just enjoying, you know, life as much as you can and being grateful for what you have. And, you know, enjoy the little things. Because, like, you... Yeah, definitely.

[00:58:09] Somebody may be really wealthy, but they may be really lonely and sad. Yes. Yep. Exactly. You don't know what's behind, you know? Everyone's life is different. And, you know, no one person lives the same life as someone else. Everyone's unique in their own way. Like, we don't know if, like, we're in a simulation. Like, who knows? Yeah, I know. Like, dude, like, I don't know. Like, I told Holly, this is my worst fear. Like, you know, being in a podcast with you.

[00:58:38] But, in a way, this is... This was actually a dream of mine, to be honest. Because ever since I got in my car, I started listening to your podcast. Awesome. And, dude, I just felt that connection. Just hearing other people talk about their car and going out, exploring, meeting new people. And, dude, it's just, like, evolved me as a person, in a way. You know?

[00:59:04] Yeah, it's, I mean, like, just the community of people. And the support, too, that you get from people is pretty amazing. Because, like, you get into this, you don't really know anything. You don't know where to go. If you're wanting to do modifications, you're not really sure what to do or how to do it. And then you reach out to people. And you get surprised that people answer you back and want to help out. And that's, like, been one of the most rewarding things, I think. Owning a Subaru is the community and just all the people out there.

[00:59:34] Yeah. So, it's a pretty special thing. Definitely. So, anything else you want to add about your Subaru journey or other stuff you've done or anything? What's your thing? So, just want to shout out our group. It's called Evergreen Explorers. Oh, yeah.

[00:59:57] So, it's me, Holly, Nina, Brandon, Tobin, and Sean. He's in the group chat with us. Nice. Yeah, dude. You all just, like, you know, hung out and decided, like, oh, we should, like, make a group. It started just, like, as a group chat. And then I went along and just been watching a lot of, like, Shark Tank.

[01:00:23] I ended up, like, going on the U.S. Patent website and try to trademark the name because I just thought it was, like, really catchy. And I just love the name Evergreen because Evergreen just stands for, like, you know, something that's timeless in a way. So, yeah, that's our group, Evergreen Explorers. Very nice. So, you guys, check it out. Do y'all have an Instagram page for it? Yes. So, we have an Instagram.

[01:00:51] We haven't posted anything yet. Okay. Still, you know, trying to figure it all out. But, yeah, no, it's going to be great. Yeah. It's cool when you can get a group of people together and create something and just, you know, especially, like, even if you don't, like, officially form anything like that. Yeah. Just being able to get together consistently with the same people and then, you know, occasionally meeting up with other people when you can.

[01:01:17] It's nice to have that kind of, you know, those people in your life. Yeah, definitely. And a good dog mascot like Tobin, too. Tobin. Tobin's the head of it. Yeah. He's form like Voltron and, you know, Tobin. He's at the top. Yeah. Yeah. He's a good guy. Mm-hmm. Well, cool, man. Thanks for taking the time to do this. I know it's a little bit later there. Yeah, thanks. You're welcome. Appreciate it. Yeah, of course.

[01:01:47] It was fun. Yeah, finally. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Nice getting to see you and talk to you and get you on here and get another Crosstrek Wilderness on here, too. Yeah, for sure, man. Thank you. Yeah, you're welcome. Thanks for the opportunity. Yeah, of course. And like I said, this was like a dream of mine. So that's another thing I want to tell everyone, you know, don't whatever it is, your dream, small or big, you know, just keep going. Go for it.

[01:02:15] Because, you know, this is like a dream come true for me. Yeah. Being on this podcast. That's awesome. You know, even though it's like I said, this is like a fear of mine. But, you know, I'm doing it, you know, a dream and a fear at the same time. Yeah, I grew up my whole life hating the sound of my recorded voice. Dude, I'm the same way. So let's start a podcast. Yeah. No, I love what you're doing. Thank you. I've been following you ever since, you know, really. Well, thank you.

[01:02:45] Good seeing you, Raph. Yeah, you too. Before I say my final goodbye, I'm not just going to hang up. But all right, man. Well, have a good night and yeah, enjoy your Subaru. Thank you. You're welcome. I would love to drive yours one day. Yeah, yeah. Seriously. Not even kidding. Yeah. It's fun. I got to come out in Texas and just, you know, hit that cheeseburger loop. We'll do the whole thing. Yeah. Yeah. That'd be fun. Cool. All right, man. We have a good night. All right.

[01:03:15] You too, man. All right. Talk to you later. Take it easy. All right. Bye. Bye. Thank you so much for tuning in to another episode of the Subie & You podcast. I hope you enjoyed this one with John and Satoshi Xtrek. If you want to give him a follow on Instagram, if you're not already doing so, his Instagram handle is a mix of numbers and letters.

[01:03:38] But it is S4, T as in Tom, 0SH1XTR3K. So, you know, you can find it that way. If you type in S4T0SH1XTR3K, it'll probably come up because it's a very unique and different Instagram handle. But thanks again, John, for taking the time to record with me. Thank you, everybody, for tuning in and listening to this episode.
